Shop Technician

We are an organization that is client-focused and team-driven. We currently have 1st shift opportunities for Shop Technicians.

Temp to Hire 6:00am to 2:30pm

The ideal candidate has experience working in skilled trades or is looking to start a skilled trade career and has the drive to learn. Trades include electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, fabricating, and building maintenance.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

· Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials

·Welding experience 

Perform some specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training

· Load and unload equipment, machine assembly, installation of equipment

· Operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes

· Effectively use heavy and light equipment, depending on the job assignment

· Move items from place to place, according to directions from the supervisor

· Carpentry experience; will be building crates and pallets

· Perform all other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

· Must be able to lift over 50lbs

· Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

· High school diploma or equivalent required – any technical training or other training beyond high school is a plus

· Pre-employment background check & drug screening required
