Window Treatment Sales Representative – Tri-State Area

Position Overview: In partnership with a reputable client in the window treatment industry, we are seeking two dynamic and organized Window Treatment Sales Representatives. The roles involve B2B sales interactions with local companies, representing a top-tier manufacturer known for quality, innovation and excellent customer service.  

The second Sales Representative will be working outside of the tri-state area. 

What We Offer: 

  • Competitive Compensation: A guaranteed base salary plus a non-recoverable draw on commission, with total earnings ranging from $85,000 – no cap per year.  Base salary of at least $50K out of town and at least $70K in tri-state area. 

  • Supportive Start: A financial cushion for the first 3 to 6 months as you learn the nuances of our client’s products and market approach, with the expectation that you’ll quickly exceed the base through exceptional performance. 

  • Advancement Opportunities: With expansion on the horizon, the potential for growth is significant. No cap on earnings. 

  • Work-Life Balance: You are in sales; you know what it takes – if you are fully in (no multi-company double-dipping) you set your own pace.  Office hours for support are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Fridays until 12:30 pm. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Surpass sales goals and develop new business relationships. 

  • Serve as an ambassador for a leading line of window treatment products. 

  • Perform market research to discover new opportunities for growth. 

  • Support media creation to create customer following and lead building with Marketing team support. Budgeting and planning are all based upon previous successful support.  

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Outstanding communication and project management abilities. 

  • A customer-centric approach with excellent problem-solving skills. 

  • Proficiency in PC, MS Office, and CRM software. 

Minimum Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Higher education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance is a plus. 

Experience & Requirements: 

  • A proven track record in sales within the window treatment or related industry. 

  • A quick learner with a passion for sales and delivering compelling presentations. 

  • Strong marketing and negotiation skills. 

Flexibility & Experience: 

  • While we have outlined specific skills and qualifications, we believe that direct experience is invaluable. Candidates with a strong background in our industry will be given serious consideration, even if every point isn’t met. We’re looking for the right fit, and sometimes that comes from hands-on experience that can’t be captured on paper. 

Location: Based in Northern New Jersey, serving the Tri-State area and beyond. For the second position, we are looking for established relationships out of town, ideally in or near major cities.
