Hours: 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm

Description
The CNC maintenance technician is responsible for all tasks related to the preventative maintenance and general maintenance/repair for the Mazak CNC machines. The CNC maintenance technician will conduct/plan/organize all maintenance activities along with support in any general facility maintenance as necessary. The position is critical to part quality, machine life, and machine uptime within the production process.
General Description
Maintain, install, and repair complex machines and equipment including CNC mills, Saws, and Ancillary Equipment.
Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures (PPE, lifting, lockout-tagout)
Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, parts manuals, and specification
Perform scheduled cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics software, pneumatic and mechanical systems
Complete testing and adjust machine tools as needed
Keep organized records of maintenance
Conduct occasional facility maintenance
Identify and replace parts as necessary
Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions
Keep work areas neat and clean
Maintain tools and supplies
Requirements
Education of a High School diploma
Understanding of electrical schematics
Related work experience of a minimum of 3 years
Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude
Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently
Ability to work unsupervised
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned work environment
The ability to wear proper PPE for the length of a workday
Strong work ethic | Positive Attitude | Self-Motivated | Ability to work in a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned work environment
Ability to stand 8 hours, walk and reach with hands and arms
