We are seeking an Experienced Controller with over 8 years of experience in financial management, specializing in healthcare finance within the homecare community services sector. Proven track record of overseeing financial operations, managing revenue cycles, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations. Adept at working directly with senior leadership and providing strategic financial guidance. to become an integral part of our team You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Oversee all financial operations, including financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- Internal Controls: Implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard financial activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities; provide in-depth financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Manage and oversee the Revenue Cycle Management process, including coordination with outsourced partners.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets; ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare financial regulations.
- Strategic Advisory: Advise senior leadership on financial objectives and policies, including short- and long-term financial planning.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary information for annual audits.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, Medicaid and Medicare billing, and other compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly accurate math and accounting skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing
- Full understanding of healthcare finance and revenue cycle management
