Available Position: (Safety Sensitive Position)

Senior Stock Clerk - Auditor/Inspections/Sit Down Forklift

As a Senior Stock Clerk, the associate will be responsible for auditing picked glass prior to shipping, and quality control of the glass. Performing daily inspections of randomly selected outbound glass, and inspection of stock identified by the Supervisor. Some computer work will be required. Advanced uncrating role to support with detailed audits and tracking discrepancies/damages found in uncrating process to support increased chargebacks to the vendors. Responsible for shipping and receiving automotive replacement safety glass products and supplies; picking and packing glass products for internal and external customers utilizing motorized equipment with on-board computers to ensure order accuracy and inventory control; able to run and create reports relating to inventory and production (reconciliation, overs and shorts, breakage, etc.)

* Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker experience required

Salary: $17.00 - $19.50 based on experience

Schedule: Overtime could be required

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10:45pm - 6:45am 

Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of glass defects during the crate packing process (will be trained)
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills to be able to input data into Excel spreadsheets; send and respond professionally to e-mail; use a digital camera to photograph defects, download onto a computer, and attach to e-mail
  • Ability to work within the strict guidelines for inspection of glass products according to the AGR Quality Manual (will be trained)
  • Detail oriented
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently in a professional manner
  • Excellent attendance
  • Prior experience in glass inspection function is preferred
  • Work in Distribution side of business when needed
  • perform non-production tasks such as inventory audits, part checks, filing and maintaining shipping documents, schedules, etc.; provide training of backup personnel; other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Able to operate hand tools
  • Without assistance, must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing 35-45 pounds on average and up to 70 pounds on a frequent/daily basis
  • Must be able to work in temperatures similar to outdoors within the Central Ohio region.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal and written).
  • Good customer/vendor relations and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Knowledge of physical attributes of glass parts.
  • Demonstrated SAP working knowledge

Qualifications Desired:

  • 2-3 years of recent Materials Handling Equipment experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
