This role will deliver laboratory services to the hospital, clinic, and nursing home housed within the facility. This role entails performing a range of technical laboratory procedures to ensure precise and prompt testing for patients. The technician will operate delicate equipment to analyze samples or substances and administer tests, then communicate the results to relevant staff members.
Job Details:
- MLT or MT Degree from an Accredited University
- ASCP registered or equialent
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures, equipment operation, and quality control methods
- Both entry-level and experienced MLTs or MTs are welcome
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical analysis of various body fluids such as blood, urine, or spinal fluid to identify normal and abnormal components
- Collect biological specimens from patients
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical equipment used in qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Input data from medical tests or clinical findings into computer systems for storage and analysis
