JOB TITLE: Unarmed Security Guard

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time / Part-Time

SCHEDULE: Night Shift/ Day Shift Positions Available

LOCATION: Federal Way and the greater Seattle area.

PAY: $20.00 - $22.00

Markham Investigation and Protection LLC. (MIP)

ESSENTIAL ROLE:

Seeking experienced and qualified candidates to fill Full-time to oversee Mass Electric site within the Federal Way, and Seattle WA area.

(Shifts Open Sat,Sun 5:00a-17:00p(Day) and Friday 19:00p-5:00a(Over Night) (Seattle), or Wed-Friday 18:00p-6:00am(Federal Way)- OVER NIGHTS

To be successful, candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the security industry, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation(personal vehicle), and proficiency with smartphone technology.

Hiring selectively, interviews, and the hiring process will be handled quickly Starting date Wednesday, 8/28/2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a visible deterrent.
  • Patrol the facility to report potential safety or security risks.
  • Provide emergency response to aid with incidents.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in both written and oral communications.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports
  • This position includes regular walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Some kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be involved.
  • Ability to work outside in the elements (weather).
  • Report any suspicious incidents to management in detail.
  • Must be comfortable serving as a visible deterrent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18+ years of age for all locations.
  • High school diploma/GED, or equivalent job-related experience
  • Valid state driver's license/safe driving record (For operating company vehicles)
  • Able to pass drug test & background screening.
  • Must have smartphone/data plan.
  • Basic computer/mobile device skills
  • Security guard license in WA State
  • Must have personal vehicle/reliable transportation.

ADDITIONAL: (Preferred)

  • Armed security guard license
  • History with Report writing and site patrol duties.
  • CPR & first aid certification
  • Bilingual
