Immediate Openings: Recreational Therapist

Insigma is currently seeking Recreational Therapists to fill contract positions within the state correctional system.

Recreation Therapist’s duties/responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following requirements.

1. Develop and implement specialized recreation therapy services to Patient-Inmates.
2. Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and coordinate services with primary clinicians, correctional counselors, and other custody personnel.
3. Evaluate recreation therapy needs for Patients-Inmates with particular attention to activities of daily living, communication skills, physical exercise, and positive coping strategies.
4. Must have an active CTRS, BLS to at least 12 months of experience to be considered.

Position Specifics:

• Location: Statewide
• Shifts Available: Weekdays 5/8s or 4/10s
• Duration: 6 Months with potential to renew
• Travel Allowance: For qualified hires
• Pay: $58-$62/hr
