Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent Rubber manufacturer in the Plymouth / Lakeville, IN area, is seeking Maintenance / Facility Worker to join their team
Job Description: The Maintenance / Facilities Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities and grounds. This is a temporary position aimed at providing support during a period of increased workload. Pay Range $20 - $22 p/h based on previous experience. Mon - Fri
  • Mowing Grass: Operating zero-turn mowers to maintain lawns and outdoor areas.
  • Vehicle Washing: Washing vans, trucks, and trailers to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
  • Window Cleaning: Ensuring that windows are regularly cleaned for visibility and aesthetics.
  • Shop Cleaning: Performing routine cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Dock Sweeping: Sweeping out docks to remove debris and maintain cleanliness.
  • Landscaping Maintenance: Assisting with landscaping tasks such as trimming and weeding to uphold the appearance of outdoor areas.
  • Painting: Assisting with painting projects as needed to maintain or improve the appearance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Light Bulb Replacement: Changing light bulbs as needed to ensure proper illumination throughout the facility.
  • Furniture Moving: Assisting with moving furniture and equipment as needed for events or reorganization.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the facility.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience operating zero-turn mowers preferred.
  2. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, squatting, crawling, reaching, twisting, and standing for extended periods of time.
  3. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and appearance.
  4. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  5. Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks is a plus.
  6. Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.
  7. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, team environment.
  8. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
