RealCold is currently looking for a Shipping Dock Team Leader to join our team in Denton, Texas. Currently, this location is on a first shift schedule beginning at 6:50am and leaving each day around 3:30pm. The scheduled days are Monday through Friday. This warehouse is not open during the weekends – perfect for your work – life balance On occasion, depending on the needs of our customers, the facility does have overtime hours – so please be prepared to help with those when business needs arise.

As an Shipping Dock Team Leader, you will be responsible to complete the following daily tasks for our team members and customers:

· Partner with Operations Leadership to make sure all functions of the warehouse are completed

· Assign work to warehouse associates to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met

· Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area

· Report defective or damaged products and follow up Supervisors in a timely manner

· Manage warehouse associate responsibilities as needed including loading and unloading,

· Ensuring all shipping materials are available, including boxes, labels, packing materials, and document daily inspections including equipment inspections and inbound/outbound trailer inspections

· Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance, and report quantity difference and quality issues where applicable

· Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates as needed

· Perform assigned projects as instructed

There are a few things to consider when you apply for our roles with RealCold. We are essentially a cold storage facility, and our environment can be anywhere from

-10 to 50 degrees with the primary workspace at 34 degrees. Your management team will provide the appropriate guidelines of what to wear to work once you join our RealCold team or provide the appropriate hand gear to ensure safety.

For safety reasons, everyone should be a minimum of 18 to work in our facilities and be able to lift over 40 lbs. At RealCold we work together, so it’s important to communicate with the members of your team and the leaders in the building. Attention to detail, organization and following directions is key to being successful in this role. We ask that you are proficient in Microsoft office systems and additionally experience in a WOS (warehouse operations system) would be a plus. One to two years of experience in a warehouse environment and the ability to operate warehouse equipment such as: pallet jacket or high reach forklift.

The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is $19 per hour, based on experience.
