We are a new store coming to Glen Burnie Maryland called Appliances 4 Less. We are a Scratch & Dent Appliance retailer looking to build and grow a team of associates. In particular, we are looking for sales associates with open schedules and a strong sense of teamwork. We're looking for people who are good with talking to customers, listening to what they are looking for, and helping point them in the right direction for their needs. Responsibilities include learning about the appliances and all the different features, good customer service skills, greeting and checking customers out, as well as helping with daily tasks around the store.

Pay: Base salary with commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and ascertain their appliance needs.
  • Provide product information and demonstrate features of various appliances.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right appliances based on their preferences and budget.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, warranties, and financing options.
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including order entry and payment processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are well-stocked and appealing.
  • Stay updated on the latest appliance trends and technology to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives and enhance customer experience.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in home appliances or electronics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills for processing sales and managing inventory.
