Job DescriptionJob Description

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Overland Park, KS. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

  • Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
  • Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional Information:

  • Location: Overland Park, KS
  • Job Type: Contract to Hire
  • Schedule: M-F 9 AM TO 5:30 PM
  • Pay Range: $22-25/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
