Palm Beach Criminal Defense/Personal Injury Firm is looking for an experienced criminal defense attorney who is interested in building a personal book of business. The ideal candidate has practiced criminal defense for a minimum of 3 years, has Jury Trial experience, and is willing to cover the tri-county area. We are looking for confidence in your ability and empathy for your clients is a must.

Who are we? We are the Law Office of Matthew Konecky, P.A. We have been handling criminal defense and personal injury cases for 20 years. Be a part of a growing team who strive for excellence in delivering client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for bringing in and handling your own cases including the cases assigned to you. To aid in your marketing skills you will be given access to the firm's vault of resources including books, videos, online training, and a list of networking events to attend.

A strong candidate will have several of the following traits:

  • Meticulous (doesn't hand in work with spelling errors)

We expect you to do the following daily, during the work hours:

  • Trial Preparation
  • Attending court hearings, in person and via zoom
  • Conducting depositions
  • Drafting and arguing all evidentiary motions
  • Formal review hearings with DMV
  • Review all body camera evidence in each case
  • Jail Visits

 

We expect you to do the following off hours:

  • Answer new client calls
  • Attend 1st appearances
  • Review any changes in the law
  • Promote yourself
  • Attend firm functions
  • Attend networking events
  • Find personal growth

To succeed in this position, you will be given staff dedicated to administrative task. You will have law office management software, legal research subscription, and malpractice insurance, and access to marketing materials as well as assistance from our marketing specialist.
