Integrated Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Freight, Stock, and Material Mover to join our team in Commack, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing and sorting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), assisting with deliveries of PPE and other materials, and performing various other tasks as needed. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is a part-time 2-year contract with hours Monday - Friday 9 AM - 1 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing and Sorting PPE:

  • Accurately pack and sort PPE items according to specified guidelines.
  • Ensure all packed items meet quality standards and are properly labeled for distribution.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

• Assisting with Deliveries:

  • Assist with loading and unloading PPE and other materials from delivery vehicles.
  • Safely transport materials to designated locations within the facility or to external sites as required.
  • Collaborate with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

• Material Handling:

  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment to transport goods within the facility.
  • Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring they are easily accessible.
  • Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting shortages.

• General Labor Tasks:

  • Perform various general labor tasks as needed, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the facility.
  • Assist other team members with their duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in safety training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight limit]) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of PPE and safety protocols is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a warehouse or industrial environment with varying temperatures.
• May be required to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
