Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Set up jobs in accordance with SOP's
- Load and unload workpieces into the machine using hoists
- Monitor machine operations to ensure that parts are being produced according to quality standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as height stands,mics,calipers,ring gages, and gage blocks

Skills:
- Proficient in operating CNC machines, specifically with experience using Fanuc or OSP
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Familiarity with various types of tooling used in CNC machining
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Will be trained at other machines.  

Need to understand how to use calipers and gauges.

- Experience using hand tools, and other equipment commonly used in machining operations
 

This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be a team player who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week.
