Job Description: Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to lead our HR department and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective HR leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to align HR initiatives with the company's goals. Must be able to travel between warehouses as needed and live in close proximity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and values.
    • Provide guidance and consultation to senior management on HR-related matters.
    • Drive organizational culture and promote a positive work environment.
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job postings to candidate selection.
    • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
    • Coordinate and conduct interviews, negotiate job offers, and oversee the onboarding process.
  1. Employee Relations:
    • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters.
    • Monitor employee satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve engagement.
  1. Performance Management:
    • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
    • Provide training to managers on effective performance feedback and coaching.
  1. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Collaborate with department heads to design and deliver relevant training initiatives.
  1. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to recommend adjustments to salary structures and benefits packages.
  1. Compliance and Legal:
    • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3years) in a Human Resources role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems preferably ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
