Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I  to support our client’s medical facility based Dawsonville GA 30534. This is a 3+ Month with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Job Title : Phlebotomist I

Location:   Dawsonville GA 30534

Pay Rate: $20-$21 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am- 4pm, Fri 8am-12pm

Duration: 3 Months +

 

Candidates expected to see around 25 patients per day

Looking for phlebotomist with strong patient verification of demographics. Great accuracy, speed, positive attitude, and highly professional. Must be able to problem solve effectively.

Overview: As a Patient Services Representative II(PSR II), you will play a crucial role as the face of our company, providing exceptional service to patients during their visit, whether as part of routine health checks or critical diagnostic procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to collect high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare these specimens for laboratory testing, all while adhering to established protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision, catering to a diverse patient demographic including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment, fostering trust and confidence among patients by explaining procedures clearly and thoroughly.
• Execute daily tasks under the guidance of the area supervisor, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all duties.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and accuracy standards when handling patient information and laboratory specimens.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and contribute to process excellence initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Proven ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment, delivering error-free work.
• Strong customer service skills, ideally in a retail or service industry setting.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry.
