TrendHR is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Technician. Our client is adding to their team and ready to hire this position right away This person would be responsible for maintaining our clients manufacturing facility near Rockwall. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining equipment with facility maintenance experience.

The responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the functioning of the manufacturing equipment
• Both mechanical and electrical work
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry as needed
• Perform basic carbon welding tasks using a wire welder
• Installing pneumatic equipment
• Repair of PVC piping systems
• Some installation and upkeep of new or existing equipment
• Other duties and projects when required

Requirements:

• Be readily available short notice if an emergency arises
• Available to work overtime as needed to keep machinery online
• 5+ years experience reading maintenance plans
• Ability to work well independently
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds daily
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to stand long hours
