Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Manager. As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Reporting directly to the Unit General Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the brand's culinary excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure quality and consistency
  • Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion sizes, while also exploring opportunities for menu innovation and seasonal offerings
  • Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a cohesive and efficient team
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to facilitate smooth communication and coordination between the kitchen and dining areas
  • Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance kitchen operations and guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a full-service restaurant setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Solid understanding of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Creative mindset with a passion for food and a desire to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred
