Job Description:
As a Solar Consultant, you will call leads that are given to you. They have given us their info so you will call and educate them on the benefits of owning solar instead of renting their energy from the utility company at a continually escalating rate.
Make friends: We only hire likable people because it is critical in getting people to go solar. If they like you, they pay attention. If they pay attention, they absorb the education. If they are educated, they will go solar because it’s a no-brainer.
Use Technology: Because we are working virtually, you must be able to learn how to share your screen and walk through a solar education presentation. You will also be using a CRM to input information and keep organized.
Educate Customers: Owning solar is a no-brainer but our customers won’t realize that until you educate them. We give you the training and tools to educate them; you just need to bring the personality.
Becoming a Subject Matter Expert: You may not know anything about solar yet and that’s ok, but you’ll need to master the topic so you can understand and meet your customer’s needs.
Be a Good Person: We only want people who are honest and who want to help people save money. If you are willing to treat every customer like your own Mom, we want you on our team to give exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Make calls to the leads provided
- Educate customers on renewable energy
- Pre-qualify customers and schedule them with a solar consultant for future review of their solar benefits
- Work with leadership to ensure you are up to speed on any company or industry changes
Qualifications:
- You are likable. No, really, that’s it We can teach you solar and we can teach you sales, but we can’t teach you to be likable. If you have charisma and integrity, you should try this career; you’ll be great, and we need you
Compensation:
- This position is 100% commission, but the advancement opportunity is HUGE
- Full time, you can average $65k in your first year
- Part time, you can average $35k in your first year
This position is fully remote, and flexible on hours Whether you want to work part time or full time WE NEED YOU
