Job DescriptionJob Description

*Overview:

Door Tech Mid-Atlantic installs and repairs commercial man doors. We work with both hollow metal and wood doors and all hardware. We are seeking an experienced installer to join our team. As an door installer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of installation tasks, including demolition, installation of frames, doors, and hardware, electrical work, mechanical knowledge, glass installation, caulking, and door hanging. If you have a strong background in these areas and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to hear from you.

*Responsibilities:

  • Install various products and systems according to specifications and schematics
  • Measure and cut materials to ensure proper fit
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and install components
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
  • Lead team to complete installs in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process
  • Train new members on all aspects of the job

*Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Drivers License and reliable transportation to varying jobsites required.
  • Hours vary based on job site. Overnights and weekend may be required with advance notice.

Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.
