Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOne Twelve is looking for energetic individuals to join our team as a SUD Recovery Technician.  We are a 245g co-occurring residential treatment center that helps men 18+ recover from their substance use disorder.  Candidates will need to have an understanding of addiction and mental health in recovery.   

The SUD Recovery Tech is responsible for the delivery of treatment services that include client supervision, client management, and  client accountability 24 hrs. per day, seven days per week. Some of the duties are to monitor and chart client activities, assist in medication administration, help with day to day light cleaning, and assist in intake and discharge duties. A SUD Recovery Tech is NOT responsible for therapy or counseling. 

Will train on duty.

Qualifications:

1. Must demonstrate adequate verbal and written communication skills

2. Must be at least 18 years of age

3. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

4. Must possess empathy for the chemically dependent person

5. Must participate in CPR/FIRST AID training once every two years

6. Must submit to a DHS approved background check 

7. Comply with MN 245G program policies and procedures

8. Staff must also know and have an understanding of clients right's.

9. Employees need to  be knowledgeable in the field of substance use disorder, the AA and other recovery programs, and the CD       continuum of care.

10. Must have an understanding of confidentiality, and abide by all HIPPA regulations.

11. Must be able to attest to being free from problematic substance use of at least 1 yr.
