Job Summary:

Trileaf is seeking a full-time hybrid, or remote Sr. Project Scientist or Assistant Project Manager with 5-15 years of experience conducting due diligence work with experience performing assessments to the requirements of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) and affiliated agencies. This position is hybrid or remote.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Phase I ESA and PCA responsibilities include conducting site visits of HUD/Fannie/Freddie properties across the US
  • Completing Phase I ESA and PCA reports in accordance with the applicable ASTM standards and client-specific scopes of work
  • The successful candidate can expect to complete 4-6 reports (or similar) per month
  • Client facing duties such as accepting and vetting new project orders
  • Provide weekly updates and trackers to clients
  • QA/QC and delivery of reports to clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

  • 5-15 years experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESA’s) consistent with ATSM E1527 and:
    • HUD Chapter 9
    • Fannie Mae Form 4251
    • Freddie Mac Chapter 61
  • Property Condition Assessments (PCA’s) consistent with ASTM E2018 and:
    • HUD per Section 223(a) and 223(f), aka Project Capital Needs Assessments (PCNAs/CNAs)
    • Fannie Mae Form 4099
    • Freddie Mac Chapter 62
  • 3+ years experience conducting Phase I ESA’s or PCA’s specifically utilizing the HUD/Fannie/Freddie scopes of work
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Good computer skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences
