Job description


Irrigation Technician Role:

  • Irrigation system design and installation
  • System maintenance and repairs
  • Irrigation inventory
  • Assists with estimating
  • Keeps management informed by maintaining daily work orders, and submitting daily activity reports
  • Strives to meet or beat budgeted hours and material on all jobs, while keeping top quality consistent (incentive opportunity also available)

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Irrigation system design and flow rates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Industry specific knowledge on landscape maintenance and construction
  • Ability to use computer programs
  • Clean NYS Drivers license
  • Knowledge of eastern Long Island and bi-lingual a plus
  • Ability to work alone and with others
  • Positive attitude and the desire to be the best at what you do
  • Flexibility with helping out other teams and crews in the company when necessary
