Maintenance Electrician

Aerotek is hiring maintenance electricians for a manufacturing company located in Byhalia, MS.  These positions are 6 month contract to hire opportunities paying between $28-32/hr depending on experience.  If interested and qualified, please apply for immediate consideration or email resumes to jchampio@aerotek.com.

Shift: 6pm-6am or 7pm-7am on 2-2-3 schedule

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an industrial multi-craft maintenance technician, performing mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repairs in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot control systems, relays, photo eyes, circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, etc.
• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment/robotics strongly preferred

Job Description:

• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records
