AutoCAD Drafter 2

AutoCAD Drafter 2:

A leading custom door and window manufacturer located in the beautiful Ventura County area in Oxnard, CA is looking for an experienced AutoCAD Drafter 2 to assist in designing the best doors and windows. The applicant must be capable of developing professional drawings for our clients and our manufacturing team. Perform work in a high-production manufacturing facility and the ability to follow directions and instructions, team player mindset, good communication skills, commitment to safety rules, and self-motivated.

Job description:

• Create and alter drawings using AutoCAD through all phases of a project.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and the design team on project drawings.
• Prepare submittal packages with supporting product information, details, and elevation drawings.
• Manage and organize the CAD drawing library for ongoing projects.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proficient with AutoCAD software.
• Must have experience working with architectural and/or mechanical drafting.
• Experience working with doors and windows is a PLUS.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with other design and manufacturing professionals.
• Able to work on multiple projects at once.
• Knowledge of Office 365 products; Word, Excel, etc.
• Good grasp of mathematics, algebra, and geometry.
• Great written and verbal communication skills via the use of platforms; email, phone, etc.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS but not required.

Education & Experience:

• Two (2) or more years of experience with AutoCAD
• Two (2) or more years of construction experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Shift: 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Status: Full-Time
