Warehouse Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFull-Time technician to work with batteries in a warehouse environment with ability to deliver batteries to dealers in the Lehigh Valley area. Candidate can be trained, experience not necessary but helpful. Must take pre-employment and random drug test.

DUTIES: Candidate would have customer interaction, perform general warehouse duties along with the following responsibilities: Load and unload batteries averaging 50 lbs. each, Restock batteries, Charge, test & clean batteries, maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification, Deliver Batteries and pick up old batteries on a daily route in the Lehigh Valley. Operate company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:  MUST have a clean driving record & valid drivers license. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior work related experience helpful, Possess Oral and Written Communication skills, Adequate Customer Service skills, Math Aptitude, Organization, Adequate Reading Skills, Random & Pre-employment drug tests are conducted.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Forklift certification OR willing to complete course
• Must wear steel toe shoes when handling batteries (money allotment each year)
• May be exposed to battery acid. 
• We will train you for this position. 

BENEFITS:  90-day Probation period, when completed full paid benefits are offered (medical, vision and dental).  Vacation is pro-rated your first year after probation period. Your 2nd year you'll receive 5 days vacation, after 2 years you receive 10 days vacation. Full time with possible over-time available. Saturdays are optional. Optional Simple IRA available with company match.

Salary: $17-20/hour depending on experience, 90 day probation period
