We are currently seeking an Experienced Carpenter to manage and assist our crews while working on jobsites to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services to our clients and promote a positive culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passionate drive for completing tasks with pride and detail. You will play a crucial role in various construction tasks, ensure the successful completion of projects safely, on time and with pride. This role requires the use of critical thinking, a desire to advance in our growing company and a heart of service. This is not a desk position, but on job sites working with inexperienced crew members.

Responsibilities

  • Assess job requirements and order necessary materials, tools and rental equipment.
  • Coordinate deliveries of materials.
  • Understand job progression to start and complete within deadline.
  • Read engineering, permitting, blueprints for installing patio covers, decking, fencing, driveway, outdoor kitchens, Composite siding, framing, Masonry work and other types of landscape/hardscape construction projects.
  • Assist the construction team in safety, cleanliness, orderliness.
  • Hands-on training and support of inexperienced crews, including proper operation of equipment, installation techniques, safety, and quality standards.
  • Help develop and inspire crew members to rise up in the company.
  • Work with building inspection authorities regarding approvals.
  • Attending production meetings.

Qualifications

  • Growing knowledge of construction methods, building codes, plans and, safety regulations. GROUND-UP EXPERIENCE A PLUS
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proactive thinker/planner, a visionary.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of equipment, tools, and machinery needed for landscape construction operations.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Work near or about natural bodies of water.
  • Ability to work outside year-round in Florida’s environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, cement bags, etc.)
  • Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record check.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Annual based on years of experience.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
