Property Inspectors

Property Inspectors (3-5) for an international leasing start-up company located in Irvine CA. 

Direct Hire position. Pay range is $20-25/hr, depending on experience. Work schedule is flexible, part-time or full-time (20-40 hours/week).  Hours can be more traditional of Monday - Friday 8-5 or individual can work evenings and weekends.  

Company is willing to train someone to learn this specific position but individual should have experience in a related field of property management, building inspection, real estate, etc. and a strong desire to learn this field.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties according to scheduled timelines and ad-hoc requests.
• Document and report property conditions using photography and detailed notes.
• Identify maintenance, safety, and compliance issues during inspections.
• Utilize the company's property management system to enter inspection results and track issues until resolution.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to address and resolve identified issues promptly.
• Assist in preparing properties for new tenants, including final move-out inspections of departing tenants.
• Provide detailed reports to property managers and other stakeholders on the condition and status of properties.
• Recommend improvements to the inspection process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a related field of property management, building inspection, real estate or a related field.
• Understanding of building systems, construction standards, and property maintenance a plus.
• Comfortable on computer and learning new software.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma required; further education or certifications in property management or related fields a plus.
