Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES) is looking to add a Technical Writer to our publications team in Miamisburg, OH.   This is a full-time, direct opportunity.

Job Description

• Providing technical publication support to various large customer (Kitchen and Bathroom Products and Fixtures) programs
• Manuals are quality management/procedural documents for use by customer’s marketing department, engineering personnel, plant personnel and auditors
• Incorporate changes to customer written manuals (Word, Visio and Powerpoint) from redline markups, including revisions in formatting
• Add in Bills of Material, CAD drawing exploded views, etc. to documents as required
• Suggest and provide new look and feel of the document, including graphics (jpeg), and hyperlinks
• Documents will be delivered in PDF form, uploaded into customer’s proprietary document system

Qualifications

• Degree in writing or similar, or equivalent experience
• Prior technical writing experience, including incorporating changes into existing manuals and documents.
• Experience with MS Products (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
• Familiar with using CAD drawings in manuals (TES design staff will do the CAD work)
• Familiar with use of hyperlinks within documents
