We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team

MUST BE Certified Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of continuous experience AND live within 20 miles of Lakeway.

Bookkeeper Requirements:

  • Certified Bookkeeper
  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Excel, Quickbooks, Office 365
  • At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good listener a must.
  • Pays attention to detail, follows instructions, and accuracy of work.
  • Ability to reconcile multiple bank statements monthly
  • Able to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
  • Able to work closely with owners as a team.

Responsibilities:

  • AR/AP & Payroll and payroll taxes
  • Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
  • Weekly status and progress reports to owners
  • Understanding ledgers.
  • Working with an accountant when necessary.
  • Handling monthly payroll using accounting software.
