Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team
MUST BE Certified Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of continuous experience AND live within 20 miles of Lakeway.
Bookkeeper Requirements:
- Certified Bookkeeper
- Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software such as Excel, Quickbooks, Office 365
- At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good listener a must.
- Pays attention to detail, follows instructions, and accuracy of work.
- Ability to reconcile multiple bank statements monthly
- Able to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
- Able to work closely with owners as a team.
Responsibilities:
- AR/AP & Payroll and payroll taxes
- Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
- Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
- Weekly status and progress reports to owners
- Understanding ledgers.
- Working with an accountant when necessary.
- Handling monthly payroll using accounting software.
