Job Description
Under the direction of the lead Art therapist the creative Arts Therapist will develop Art therapy curriculum's and prepare materials used in expressive therapy i.e. Dance, Drama, Art, Music, Boxing, and Spoken word, in the form of projects and activities that addresses the psychological, intellectual, and emotional needs of teens based on their individual skills, talents, interest, and strengths.
Therapist will conduct:
Initial intakes
Screenings
Assessment of strengths and needs
Mental and physical functioning assessments
Bio-psycho social assessments
Diagnosis
Complete treatment plans.
Renders weekly individual and group/class therapy to an assigned caseload.
Administers weekly therapeutic expressive Art groups.
Works collaboratively with the client’s team to ensure integrated treatments and a therapeutic milieu.
Develops and implements social/emotional curriculum to meet the physical, emotional, and creative needs of our youth.
Maintains compliance with HIPPA, confidentiality, and DCS policies and procedures at all times.
Attends monthly staffing and supervision to ensure self-care, quality of delivery, and state compliance.
Establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned clients to facilitate the treatment process.
Completes all required documentation in accordance to agencies contracted affiliates policies and procedures.
Facilitates psycho-education and therapeutic groups to support agencies mission.
Provides consultation and therapy to families of clients when needed.

Master’s degree and professional license REQUIRED in: LCPC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHCA, LMFT, OR PSYD (TEMPORARY LICENSE ACCEPTED)
Hourly: $40.00 to $46.00 /hour
