Do you have a passion for helping others, but aren’t sure where to start? At Behavioral Perspective (BPI), you can become a Behavior Technician and provide much needed therapy services to children, teens, and young adults with Autism.

What is a Behavior Technician?

Behavior Technicians (BTs) are paraprofessionals certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BTs serve clients with Autism by providing direct 1:1 therapy sessions. BTs  work closely with managers and clinical supervisors (BCBAs) to help set clients up for success.

How will you make an impact?

The primary responsibility of a Behavior Technician is to work 1:1 with clients. Your work helps clients have the opportunity to grow and advocate for themselves, develop important life skills, and create paths to communicate more effectively with others. This isn’t your average childcare job; there is so much more to it You’ll be spending time helping clients develop a range of life skills, such as  teaching socially significant behaviors, managing challenging behaviors, and developing social skills 

We are looking for serious, dedicated individuals who are willing to serve as a role model and advocate for the clients we serve. You’ll have good days and challenging days, but you’ll always see the impact you’re making in the clients’ lives. 

The feeling of seeing a learner reach a goal that you’ve been helping them to achieve is difficult to put into words. It’s no small thing, and you contribute directly to those wins.

What experience do I need?

We are looking for BTs of all levels of experience. We provide training for new technicians, as well as growth opportunities for experienced technicians

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience working in ABA or similar fields (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation (required)
  • Regular, reliable attendance (required)
