We are seeking a skilled Fabricator who is versatile and experienced in various metalworking techniques to join our dynamic team.
Job Duties:- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various metalworking techniques such as welding, cutting, bending, and forming.- Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and sketches to ensure accurate production of components.- Operate a variety of tools and equipment including welders, grinders, saws, drills, and other power tools.- Perform metal finishing techniques such as grinding, sanding, polishing, and painting to achieve desired surface finishes.- Assist in the layout and preparation of materials for fabrication projects.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role in an architectural metal workshop or related field.- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG) and metal fabrication techniques.- Ability to work with various metals including sheet metal, rebar, and steel beams.-Experience working with architectural/structural metal work is highly desired.- Experience operating and maintaining a variety of metalworking tools and equipment.- Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various positions as required.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certification or formal training in metal fabrication or a related field.- Familiarity with architectural metalwork and construction industry standards.- Knowledge of different metal finishes and surface treatments.
