The Head Cashier will assist management in creating and sustaining a pleasant work environment and excellent customer relationships. Assist the manager in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals maintaining a profitable operation. Receive applications and participate in interviewing of applicants when needed. Assist in scheduling of sales associates as required. Responsible for the proper accounting and banking of case receipts per Salvation Army funds policy. Assure all paperwork and sales reports are filled out completed and forwarded to the Finance Dept. daily. Be backup for Store Manager/Assistant Manager as needed. Function as the 3rd key, opening/closing the store as scheduled, including making bank deposits as needed. Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in sales.
Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record.
Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
Company DescriptionProcessing experience preferred.Have a working knowledge of clothing quality and price.
Ability to stand for long periods.
