Trial Attorney

Great opportunity for the right attorney If you are just looking for a “job”, this is probably not the right fit for you. We are looking for an attorney that has strong civil litigation/trial skills but interested in further developing those skills. We are looking for someone that is interested in and motivated to not only work on our wide variety of civil litigation matters but also interested in developing and growing his or her own book of clients. Both of these objectives require hard work, dedication and motivation.

We are a Small south Orange County business litigation firm looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Expectations for the position:

• The numbers of years you have been an attorney is less important than the skills you have developed during the time you have been practicing. Experience in prepping a case for trial, and actual trial experience is important
• Current case load will expose you to litigation matters involving business disputes, employment litigation, contract actions, unfair competition, real estate, probate/trust, and domestic matters. Given the vast array of legal matters you will be addressing, you need to be prepared to competently transition, learn and adapt to the cases at hand.
• The cases range from limited to complex. Trial commitments can range from days to months.
• We handle state and federal cases, arbitrations and a number of administrative actions.
• We work as a team, but you can expect to have both full case management and on a project basis working with other members of the firm.
• If you have been competently trying cases, you already know the commitment it requires. It is an in-office position (not remote). Strong research and writing skills are a must. We believe in professional, aggressive but ethical approach to our practice of law.

Compensation is based upon a variety of factors. You will drive your own compensation based on your experience and commitment to the job. The work you develop will also drive your compensation.
