Nursing Unit Manager

Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? Join our dynamic clinical team and a rapidly expanding company as a Licensed Nurse Unit Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll put your nursing expertise to good use, coordinating and providing top-notch care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge in overseeing the care of residents in your assigned unit, ensuring that the philosophy, nursing objectives, and industry standards are met, in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Dive into the details with daily reviews of alert charting and progress notes, follow up on lab results, and track infections and treatment progress.
- Guide and mentor your unit's nursing staff through training, counseling, and appropriate disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate in the care planning process, ensuring it aligns with resident needs and regulatory requirements.
- Spearhead the fight against infections by collecting data, tracking therapy, and implementing necessary isolation measures when needed.
- Take the lead in outbreak investigations and promptly report communicable disease incidents to relevant agencies.
- Empower your team with in-service education, training Charge Nurses, STNAs, and facility staff on Infection Prevention and Control (IPCP) procedures.
- Work closely with leadership and the medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the IPCP program for our facility.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing and leading teams is a plus.
- Current LPN or RN license is required.
