Summary: Bounce Back Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients regain their mobility, strength, and independence. As a Physical Therapist at Bounce Back Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, providing personalized and evidence-based treatment plans to address a variety of physical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Evaluation:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and medical histories.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.

  2. Therapeutic Interventions:

    • Administer a variety of physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
    • Guide and instruct patients on exercises, stretches, and activities to improve mobility and strength.

  3. Patient Education:

    • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for preventing further injury.
    • Provide information on proper body mechanics, posture, and ergonomics.

  4. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for documentation.

  5. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to motivate and encourage patients.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to [weight] pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the workday.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to perform therapeutic techniques.

Work Environment:

  • Clinical setting at Bounce Back Physical Therapy.
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids.
  • Requirement to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Salary:

  • 90-95K
