Sanitation Associate 20/hr.

Responsible for cleaning of all production equipment and the production environment.

Able to work a varying schedule working between 1st and 2nd shift. When hired permanently the worker will be working on 2nd shift.

The Sanitation Associate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the equipment to prepare the equipment and production lines for usage the following day. The sanitation Associate will work directly with the manufacturing and quality insurance departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Usage of cleaning products both manual and automated
  • Cleaning in Place (CIP) Cleaning out of place (COP)
  • Knowledge of usage of different cleaning solution ex. alkaline cleaning solutions
  • Disassemble and reassembling of equipment for cleaning and sanitizing
  • Documentation of daily cleaning duties

Qualifications:

  • One year cleaning experience and sanitizing food equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety (GMP) and food quality standards
  • Must be willing to work in elevated services from time to time (20 ft)
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Strong general mechanical skills for troubleshooting
  • Able to multi task and to work at a fast pace when needed
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills
  • Experience with a fork lift and walkie experience
