Job DescriptionJob Description

INFOTRAN is looking for electrical field inspectors to support NYCSCA Building Condition Assessment Survey (BCAS) Project. The project objective is to provide SCA/DOE with a Capital Plan to maintain its building assets in a state of good repair for many years to come, thus reducing their life cycle costs and making the school premises more sustainable, efficient, and resilient.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Condition Assessment Surveys of building site and exterior security lighting, communication, and security systems, including CCTV, intrusion alarms, remote annunciators, panic switches, ultrasonic sensors, electric conduits, layered access control, intercom system, fire alarm, and emergency lighting systems of NYC Public schools over the borough of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Bronx.
  • Create Priority Condition Reports for critical components.
  • Address the Violations issued by the city authorities and update the status.
  • Creating ATFUF and AGFUF reports for each inspected asset.
  • Record all the observations and assessments on the hand-held computer provided by SCA

Qualifications

  • Previous experience on BCAS project is highly desired.
  • BS. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times position.
