SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Planner to join our team. The Project Planner will work closely with our engineers and senior project manager to ensure seamless execution of Frac Tank Unit fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning and possess proficiency in project planning software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for Frac Tank Unit fabrication projects.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status updates and milestones to stakeholders, including the senior project manager and clients.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and adjust project plans as needed.
  • Utilize project planning software to optimize project schedules and resource allocation, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
  • Support the senior project manager in evaluating project performance against key metrics and objectives, identifying areas for improvement.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

  • PMP Certification, CAPM will also be considered. Alternately a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project planning and coordination, preferably in the oilfield or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency and previous experience using project planning software is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in project documentation and reporting.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The job is in Odessa, Texas, and the chosen candidate must reside within a 60-mile radius of Odessa.
  • Proficiency in English is a must. Knowing spoken Spanish is seen as advantageous.
  • Having strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards working with others is highly valued.
