We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal and general pre-litigation research, preparing legal documents, filing court documents in the correct courthouse, organizing case files, managing court deadlines, client communication, case management, negotiations with insurance companies and defense counsel, and maintaining and documenting all aspects of a case in the practice management system.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
  • Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and others involved in the legal processes
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law

​​Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Spanish speaking (highly preferred)
  • At least one year experience practicing law
  • Admitted to practice law in California courts
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities
  • Proficient in using legal research databases such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients
