- Location: Geneva, NY (Beautiful Finger Lakes Region of NYS. The region also offers some of the cleanest, most picturesque lakes, as well as great outdoor activities all year long. They include skiing, golf, fishing, hiking, swimming and sailing).
Qualifications:
- Current NYS license
- +years of Family/Adult Physician Assistant experience
- +years of PA experience, preferably in [specialty area: hospitalist]
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Graduation from an accredited PA program is required.
- Certified PA (PA-C).
- Licensing: State licensure is mandatory to practice
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and review patients’ medical histories
- 12 hour rotating day shifts
- Experience in Hospital Medicine preferred.
- Examine patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x rays or blood tests
- Diagnose a patient’s injury or illness
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on a variety of issues, such as treatment and self-care
- Prescribe medication
- Assess and record a patient’s progress
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited PA program is required.
- Certified PA (PA-C).
- Licensing: State licensure is mandatory to practice

- Near the tip of Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen State Park has rocky cliffs and cascading waterfalls, plus trout fishing. Southwest is the Corning Museum of Glass. In Seneca Falls, the Women's Rights National Historical Park marks the site of the 1848 women's rights convention. To the north is the Old Erie Canal, a pivotal 19th-century waterway now offering hiking, canoeing and fishing. In the northwest, the city of Rochester overlooks Lake Ontario.
