Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our pain management practice. This position offers flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both the needs of our patients and the availability of the therapist. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.

Responsibilities:


  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition, pain levels, and functional abilities.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history.
  3. Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life.
  4. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercise programs, manual techniques, and patient education strategies to optimize outcomes.
  5. Monitor and reassess patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and promote continuity.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters, including evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes, in accordance with regulatory requirements and practice standards.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights and dignity.
  9. Stay informed about advances in physical therapy research, technology, and best practices, participating in continuing education and professional development activities as appropriate.
  10. Contribute to the overall success of the practice by actively participating in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:


  1. Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Pennsylvania.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
  3. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate varying patient schedules and practice needs.
  6. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development, including participation in continuing education courses and professional certifications.
  7. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and proficiency in documentation standards and regulations.
  8. CPR certification (Basic Life Support) preferred.
Schedule: This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling options, with the opportunity to work variable hours based on patient demand and therapist availability. Evening hours may be required to accommodate patient needs.
