Denver, United States MSP Personnel Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

One of our Valued Clients, a specialized firm providing Geotechnical, Environmental, Water Resources, Civil Design, and Construction Services throughout the project delivery life cycle from conceptual planning to permitting, design, engineering, and construction management, is looking to add to their growing Colorado Team.

They are looking to hire Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to support the company’s growing environmental remediation services within the oil and gas industry nationally. The ideal candidate will have experience working at large, complex sites such as refineries, bulk terminals, and other industrial facilities within state- and/or federally-led regulatory programs.

The candidate will bring a deep focus on technical excellence and strategic thinking. You will join a growing team of highly motivated project managers, staff professionals, and senior leaders with a deep focus on collaboration, quality, and client relationships.  This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills and collaborate with other environmental and engineering professionals within a close-knit team who works hard and supports each other.

Responsibilities:

·        NAPL Expertise: Conduct technical analyses of NAPL contamination, including delineation of its extent, stability assessments, recoverability evaluations, and natural source zone depletion (NSZD) investigations.

·        Conceptual Site Model Development: Develop and refine comprehensive conceptual site models (CSMs) to understand the nature and behavior of contaminants at a site.

·        Communication & Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies, effectively communicating complex technical information.

·        Project Management: Oversee field staff during investigation and design projects, ensuring data quality and project efficiency. Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines and client expectations.

·        Teamwork & Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across the country to deliver exceptional client service, leveraging collective expertise for successful project outcomes.

·        Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements:

·        Strong Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or a related scientific field. A Master's degree is a further advantage.

·        Oil & Gas Experience: Possess 4+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, specifically within the oil and gas industry.

·        Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in conducting technical analyses and preparing comprehensive reports.

·        NAPL Remediation Knowledge (Preferred): Prior experience with NAPL remediation strategies, such as plume stability evaluations, LNAPL transmissivity tests, and NSZD testing, is a valuable asset.

·        Data & Technology Skills (Preferred): Programming skills (R or Python) and experience with environmental databases (e.g., EQuIS) are highly valued for efficient data analysis and management.

·        Professional Certifications (Preferred): Hold a professional registration (P.E., LSP, P.G., etc.) to demonstrate expertise and meet regulatory requirements. Completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training is an additional benefit.

If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the requirements, please email your updated Resume to resumes@together-sg.com and one of our Account Managers will be in touch if you meet the requirements.

Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates. Should you not hear from us within 4 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
