Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including safety regulations (OSHA) and employment standards.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Coordinate employee training programs on safety procedures, diversity and inclusion, and other relevant topics.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Support employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, safety, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including safety regulations (OSHA).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
