This position may be located at one of our projects in Corpus Christi, Texas, Yakima County, Washington, or Champaign County, Ohio. Your project assignment will be based on business need. Per-diem and project allowance are available to help cover temporary living expenses for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Depending on project availability, once your time on this project ends, you may be transferred to the next project or back to our home office in Houston, Texas to await your next assignment.

Here's how a Solar Piles Superintendent for our Solar division contributes to our team:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees solar construction piling activities related to PD10 equipment.
  • Oversee all aspects of solar construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Organize and coordinate the installation of pile teams, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to project schedules and specifications.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Identify and resolve any installation issues or challenges that arise during the project, collaborating with team members and other stakeholders to find effective solutions. Work with site management and clients to ensure any issues.
  • Provide input to Field Engineering for quantity tracking application.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecasts.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • 5 years or more of experience in solar pile installation in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve installation issues effectively, making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
