Bridge Cable is a network cabling and security system installation company based out of Willow Grove. Bridge has been servicing since 2006 commercial properties in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and other surrounding communities for over 15 years.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Estimator at our office in Willow Grove, PA.

As a Sales Estimator, your day-to-day tasks will include customer service, sales, communication, and project estimation. You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide accurate estimates for network cabling projects, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Additional responsibilities are as followed, but not limited to:
  • Attend Bid Meetings & site walk-throughs with prospective clients
  • Update CRM with contacts along with sales leads and status
  • Building Relationships with Commercial Vendors, General Contractors, Electrical Contractors and Property Managers
  • Process and complete Bid Forms, Bid Proposals, Project Change Orders and Bid Prequalification.
  • Interpret bid documents, plans, and specifications → You will be responsible for properly passing along a closed deal to the Operations team for full installation
  • Review bid documents, pricing, and proposals with department sales representative. You are required to follow up on all sent bids - must see them through until closed.
  • Prepare complete proposals with Sales representative.
  • Develop preliminary design concepts with the collaboration of the operations team for easy installation directions.
  • Develop Job Schedules and assist as Project Manager for large installs.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with CCTV/surveillance cameras and access control systems
  • Knowledge of network cabling and infrastructure design
  • Familiarity with Cat 5e, 6, 6e, and fiber optic cabling
  • Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Proficiency in project estimation
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Must have experience in sales, cold calling and drafting bids.
  • Excel proficient
  • Construction field experience a must, low voltage preferred.
