Wendel Klein Builders is a small Design-Build firm working in the Greater Cambridge area. We offer our clients a very customer service centric experience focusing on high quality building, integrity, attentiveness, cleanliness and friendliness.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter who can work as part of a team as well as independently.

The ideal candidate is someone who has 10 years or more of residential remodeling experience and extraordinary carpentry skills. Someone who will model a positive attitude and who likes to teach others. Do you recognize the difference between production carpentry and residential remodeling? Do you prefer the challenges and rewards remodeling offers? Then this could be a good fit.

Are you winding down your business, don't want to deal with the office stuff but still want to be hands on? I'd love to talk.

Chemistry between employees is essential. We are a small group of craftsmen, expect to meet the crew on a job or two as part of figuring out if we are a good fit to work together.

Compensation

  • This is a full time position offering an hourly wage between $27.00 - $40.00 per hour.
  • 8 paid company holidays plus 10 additional paid days off per year. Roll over max 5 days per year
  • Annual tool allowance of $1,000.00 per year.
  • 50% monthly contribution toward insurance plans from Blue Cross and Delta Dental. Full suite of optional, not matched, insurances and benefits are available
  • 401k
  • Reimburse for gym and other health related memberships up to $25.00 per month.
  • Reimburse for construction related continuing education, training and licenses
