Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bathroom Installer to join our construction team, specializing in new construction projects. As a Bathroom Installer, you will be responsible for installing and fitting all bathroom fixtures, fittings, and accessories according to blueprints and specifications. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that bathrooms are completed to the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine bathroom layout and installation requirements.
  2. Install and fit bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, cabinets, countertops, and mirrors.
  3. Ensure all plumbing and electrical connections are installed correctly and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
  4. Measure and cut materials to fit bathroom spaces accurately, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  5. Install waterproofing materials, such as membranes and sealants, to prevent water damage and ensure durability.
  6. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including plumbers, electricians, and carpenters, to coordinate installation tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
  7. Conduct quality inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues with installations, ensuring that bathrooms meet high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
  9. Provide guidance and assistance to apprentices and junior installers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  10. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in bathroom installation techniques and materials.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Bathroom Installer or similar role in the construction industry, with a demonstrated track record of successful installations in new construction projects.
  2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  3. Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, with the ability to install and connect fixtures safely and accurately.
  4. Excellent carpentry skills, including the ability to measure, cut, and fit materials to precise dimensions.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods.
  8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as required.
  9. Certification or licensure in plumbing or carpentry is preferred but not required.
  10. Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all relevant building codes and regulations.
